- Doug has been studying Martial Arts for over 30 years. His proficiency includes Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi Chuan, boxing and wrestling.
- Doug was promoted to black belt instructor on April 20, 1996 then promoted to Ninth degree black belt on September 7, 2015.
- Broadening his expertise, Doug became a Reiki master on January 19, 2002.
- Lastly, Doug enjoys utilizing his practical capabilities working as a security personnel.
